Start this special day with a guided tour of Lucca’s historic centre: discover the secrets of the city and its most known monuments.
After lunch, which can be chosen at will, take part in the great parade and celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Viareggio Carnival characterized by people wearing traditional masks and costumes! This is a historical moment for the Carnival which, for the first time ever, takes place far from its original town. In the afternoon, come and celebrate the Carnival on the evocative City Walls of Lucca.
End the day with a bang and taste a traditional culinary specialty: the “Tordellata di Carnevale”, one of the most traditional and iconic dishes of the area. The event takes place in Piazza San Francesco, accompanied by live music by Manolo Strimpelli.
