Go on a journey to discover Montecarlo’s Wine and Olive Oil Road, a renowned wine-making area characterized by a hilly landscape and natural beauties.
This tour leads us outside the city, on secondary roads towards the medieval village of Montecarlo, set on the hills and a small jewel characterized by rare beauties. Before reaching the summit of the hill, immerse in a green itinerary where you can admire a real monument of nature, that is the five-hundred-year-old oak tree also known as “Quercione”, according to several legends.
Once we reach the village, we visit its most memorable tourist sites, such as the walls, the church and one of Italy’s smallest theatres. We have the chance to spend some time in this small village and absorb its peace and quiet, while enjoying an outstanding panorama over the Piana di Lucca.
After lunch, which can be chosen at will, we hop on our bikes once again and, on the way back, we stop for a tasting of local wines (optional).
